Meet Toffee.

Toffee was dumped at a high-kill shelter in Southern California with her brother Coffee when she was just a puppy. She and Coffee were saved from the euthanasia list by a local rescue, but as a result, she has lived most of her life in a kennel. We would prefer to find her a couch and a bed! Her brother was recently adopted, and now it's Toffee's turn. She is being fostered locally in Massachusetts in a home with large & small dogs, cats, and older children (10-15), and behaves well with everyone. She's gone to training and knows simple tricks, and is completely housebroken. She's a German Shepherd, so has a strong personality, and will display signs of aggression if she is frightened. We are looking for an experienced home for Toffee, because she is a Shepherd who's recently gone through a lot of changes, and needs to decompress and feel safe (it took about ~2 weeks with us).
